Beacon of LIFE mission is to provide the newest healthcare and social service choices for elders living in Monmouth County.
The Beacon of LIFE center was established to deliver PACE (Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly) services. The PACE model is centered on the belief that it is better for the well-being of seniors with chronic care needs and their families to be served in the community whenever possible.
We are currently looking for a Full Time Human Resources Generalist to join our team!
Position Summary:
Acts as a generalist to perform a variety of functions in support of the Human Resource Department
Basic Qualifications:
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Excel, Word and Power Point Programs.
Licensure/Certifications:
Valid New Jersey Driver’s License
Education/Training/Certifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management or related degree. Certification in Human Resources preferred.
Skill(s):
- General knowledge of human resources functions.
- Knowledge of personnel issues, current trends, employment laws and state and federal regulations.
- Knowledge of standardized employee record keeping practices.
- Knowledge of organizational policies, procedures and systems.
- Knowledge of computer systems and experience working with ADP and HR software.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees and management.
- Ability to communicate and present information effectively.
- Ability to read and interpret office procedures and policies.
- Ability to establish priorities and coordinate work activities.
Experience:
Minimum of two years of Human Resource Management.
Minimum of 1 year working with a frail or elderly population
