Hanes Companies, Inc., a division of Leggett & Platt, is seeking a Human Resources Management Trainee in Winston-Salem, NC that will be actively present and engaged on the plant floor. Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Oversee Winston plant by developing rapport, working with plant management to understand the jobs and functions that exist within the facility, and the type of employee that will have success in that environment
• Manage the recruiting and hiring processes for incoming talent
• Facilitate the new employee orientation process for all new hires and temporary workers
• Provide human resources support on various topics including: FMLA, Workers’ Compensation, and employee benefits.
• Ensure compliance over plant and outside branches when it comes to labor regulations, legal requirements, and enforcement of company policies, procedures, and programs
• Advise and collaborate with management on the understanding and resolution of employee issues and concerns
• Other duties assigned

Required Education and Skills:

• A bachelor’s degree preferably in Business Administration or Management with a concentration on Human Resources, or a business-related field of study
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to assist employees in a professional and confident manner
