Job Description:
Under the direction of the Human Resource Director, this position is primarily responsible for the administration, processing, and auditing of payroll and to support the general human resource functions of the agency.
Essential Functions:
  • Payroll administration, processing and auditing utilizing the agencies time management and payroll software.
  • Liaison to employees and managers of VIA with time management and payroll related questions/concerns.
  • Provision of time and attendance and payroll related information to requestors.
  • Non-voluntary benefit administration, processing and auditing utilizing departmental SOP.
  • Voluntary benefit administration, processing and auditing utilizing departmental SOP.
  • Administration, processing and auditing of employment records utilizing department SOP.
  • Recruitment processing and auditing.
  • New hire onboarding utilizing departmental SOP.
  • Updating departmental SOP according to compliance regulations and agency and/or departmental needs.
  • Provide support to executive level administration.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalency required.
  • Associates degree or higher preferred.
  • One year human resource or payroll administration experience required.
