Here’s what you can expect in the role as a Human Resources Recruiter:

The Human Resources Recruiter position exists to deliver all facets of recruiting success including – advertising, attending job fairs, area college recruiting, and networking with other organizations.

Job Duties:

  • Sources, attracts, evaluates, and refers candidates for open positions through recruiting website, team member referrals, on-site recruiting and other sourcing methods.
  • Reviews applications, conducts telephone screens, first interviews, and pre-employment screenings of applicants to appropriate positions.
  • Fills open positions in an effective and efficient manner being mindful of manager and candidate experience.
  • Manages HR queue in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
  • Conducts regular follow-up with managers to determine effectiveness of recruiting plans and implementation as well as workforce planning.
  • Determines applicant requirements by studying job descriptions and job qualifications. Schedules and conducts on going job shadows for related positions.
  • Maintains tracking of candidates and other KPI’s related to candidate pool and time to fill.
  • Attends career events, job fairs, and builds relationships with career professionals.
  • Builds network to find qualified passive candidates.
  • Utilizes internet for recruiting ideas, sourcing, and building a robust candidate pipeline.
  • Develops a pool of qualified candidates in advance of need.
  • Establishes recruiting requirements by studying and organizing plans and objectives and meeting with managers to discuss needs.
  • Partners with managers and HR team members to build a strong team of top producers.
  • Assists and supports all aspects of the Human Resources department to include legal compliance with proper documentation and record retention.
  • Provides creative ideas to help implement/update current processes.
  • Assists with several HR duties to better understand current policies and procedures.
  • Updates knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintain personal networks, and participating in professional organizations.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

What you’ll need to qualify:

  • 4-year degree preferred.
  • Computer competency with Microsoft Office and typing skills at minimum 25 wpm.
  • Great attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently via phone, email, and person to person.
  • High degree of confidentiality and professionalism required.
  • Demonstrated ability to establish effective and cooperative working relationships built on trust. Ability to manage a wide range of relationships with a variety of stakeholders.
  • Capable of gathering facts accurately, analyzing causes, evaluating alternate solutions, and arriving at sound conclusions on action to be taken.
  • Comfortable making decisions independently and use discernment.
  • Must have strong verbal and written communication skills, organizational skills, and time management with ability to handle multiple tasks a must.
  • Ability to travel with flexibility in work schedule hours is important to the success of this role.
  • Self-motivated and able to manage multiple and/or conflicting responsibilities.
  • Must be flexible and able to adjust quickly.
  • Performance, results-driven individual focused on teamwork with the ability to create/sustain a strong, positive, vibrant culture.
  • Willingness to work beyond standard work hours when positions require additional efforts and/or above and beyond specific details in their job description.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 75% of the time.
  • Will be constantly operating a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a telephone, calculator, copy machine, and computer printer.
  • Will be communicating 90% of the time over the phone. Must be able to exchange accurate information at all times.
  • Must be able to identify and assess account status and determine appropriate process.
  • Will constantly work in a state-of-the-art indoor temperature controlled, sealed window office environment.
