This position provides administrative and technical support in the core HR functional areas of Training, Staff Development, HR Information Systems, Data Analysis, and Rewards, Recognition, and Retention.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Actively search, creatively design and implement effective methods to educate and enhance performance to improve the productivity of the organization’s employees.
  • Develop effective and engaging training materials that utilize a variety of methods.
  • Research training and performance software compatible with the Company’s environment and provide solutions for improving existing HR software, as applicable.
  • Work closely with the HR Department to support data management and analysis, reporting, and planning needs for current and future needs.
  • Work with operations throughout the organization to further the development of Continuous Improvement and Traction initiatives.
  • Establish and maintain a succession plan for critical positions throughout the Company.
  • Implement value-based culture throughout the Company.
  • Create ways to amplify our values and build employee connections; keeping employees informed, engaged, and inspired and ensuring employees feel heard, valued, respected and their work is impactful.
  • Identify, create, and execute employee engagement initiatives, including an employee rewards and recognition program, performance management system, and other initiatives.
  • Provide regular communications and reports to HR Manager with status updates, plans, and outcomes of engagement initiatives and program outputs including implementation of mechanisms to accurately measure and track retention data, team engagement, and related performance measures.
  • Other duties as assigned by the manager

Skills, Experience, and/or Education Required :

  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage employee engagement initiatives, driving results in the workforce.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to express ideas clearly and concisely, both oral and written.
  • Strong project management skills to provide planning, coordination and direction to staff, and to propose innovative solutions to employee engagement.
  • Excellent organizational and presentation skills, with the ability to lead both large and small group activities.
  • Five years of experience in training or development, or a commensurate role, preferred
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Attention to detail and accuracy required
  • Sensitivity to corporate needs, employee relations, and public image required
  • The ability to work efficiently in a team environment or independently, with employees at all levels within the organization
  • Ability to maintain confidential and sensitive information
  • Excellent interpersonal skills required
  • Ability to travel
