Offering heating and cooling, mechanical contracting, custom sheet metal work, custom ductwork, and other services, from its humble beginning from a home’s basement to a 36,000-square-foot building 3 ½ years ago, North Central Mechanical Services has grown steadily over the years.

Attention to detail and dedication to work has made North Central Mechanical Service successful plus the good employees. Many of the company's employees have been hired out of North Iowa Area Community College’s heating and air conditioning technology program where the business owner served on the program’s advisory board. Now we are growing fast and looking for new team members to join our company!

‍ Responsibilities

• Installing, maintaining, and repairing ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment
• Identifying maintenance risks on equipment
• Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC systems
• Cleaning, adjusting, and repairing systems, and performing warranty services
• Performing emergency repairs promptly and efficiently
• Providing technical direction and on-the-job training
• Keeping daily logs and records of all maintenance functions
• Ensuring compliance with appliance standards and with OSHA
• Complying with service standards, work instructions, and customers' requirements
• Assisting with client's concerns

• Valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Pass a background check and drug screening
• Understands the principles of air conditioning, refrigeration, and heating.
• Knowledgeable in balancing air and water treatment systems in line with HVAC protocols
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
• Familiar with reading schematics and work plans
