PROGRAM

These positions are HYBRID with a mix of on-site and remote work.

Center for Child and Youth Psychiatry (CCYP) brings together a team of psychiatrists, clinicians, nursing staff, case managers, and administrative staff to provide care to children and youth in San Diego County. Utilizing diverse service modalities such as telepsychiatry and face-to-face practices, CCYP reduces barriers to mental health services for those who are most vulnerable and in need of care. We work with providers across the systems of care to ensure children and youth receive quick access to mental health treatment for ongoing stability and to prevent further deterioration. Office is in San Diego on Clairemont Mesa Blvd.

POSITION

The Clinician is responsible for the clinical integrity, assessment, planning and delivery of mental health services to the clients. She/he assures that all provided services, program documentation, and billing are consistent with company policies and various county and community contracts and any federal, state, county, and district requirements. Duties include:

  • Provide counseling/mental health services.
  • Practice as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Provide clinical assessments, intervention and support to clients.
  • Complete proper clinical documentation in a timely manner.
  • Partner with clinic/referral source in a professional and cooperative manner.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Master's Degree
  • ACSW/AMFT/APHA/APCC, registration or License in good standing with the CA Board of Behavioral Science.
  • Experience working in a mental health program or clinic, treatment facility or other behavioral health setting.
  • 2-4 years professional experience in working with target population.
  • Experience and knowledge in assessment and treatment for target population.
  • Bilingual preferred.
  • Must pass background check, drug test, TB test and COVID vaccine requirements.

HOURS

40 hours per week, Monday – Friday day shift.

PAY

$30 for Registered

$34 for Licensed

These are starting rates and may be adjusted up based on education and experience.

Current Vista Hill employees in these job titles for 2023 are paid:

$30 – $35 for Registered; and

$34 - $37.50 for Licensed

BENEFITS

Employees working over 30 hours a week receive employer-paid benefits, including medical, dental, vision, paid time off (vacation and sick leave), paid holidays, employer-paid retirement contribution and clinical supervision (if applicable). Some programs qualify for student loan forgiveness programs.
