This position will be assigned to the Operational Division and will be responsible for daily
operations and quality control at the assigned account.
Essential Job Requirements:
1. Must be at least 21 years of age with a background in Janitorial.
2. Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university preferred; or the equivalent comprising
professional work experience and training certifications.
3. Must have the ability to communicate effectively and demonstrate proficiency in verbal and written
communication.
4. Must be willing to work over-time when needed!
5. Be willing to participate in training sessions and meetings when scheduled.
6. Must possess good problem-solving skills.
7. Read and comprehend policies and procedures written or spoken in English.
8. Must possess initiative and sound judgement in evaluating and reacting to situations and be able to
multi-task.
9. Communicate utilizing the English language and interface effectively in a pleasant, “Customer Service”
tone, whether the individual is an internal or external customer.
10. Possess patience, tact, cheerful disposition and enthusiasm, as well as diplomacy and professionalism
when dealing with any person in the work environment, no matter the circumstances.
11. Adhere to all safety requirements of Sizemore.
12. Operate specialized equipment when trained and authorized with no issues.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Majority of work will be performed in a climatically controlled building in a 24-hr. operational facility.
RELATED JOB FUNCTIONS:
1. Makes job assignment offers to employees explaining full job description, terms of assignment, pay
rate, and benefits.
2. Obtains complete and accurate information from customers placing job orders and matches the
best candidate to the job.
3. Conducts employee orientations and/or job specific (or customer specific) training.
4. Monitors employee activity at customer location such as attendance and performance.
5. Conducts service calls to customer to ensure quality service, obtain feedback, and recommend
solutions and improvements, track and capture data.
6. Follows and communicates all safety rules and regulations.
7. Supports the local branch office in their corporate requirements.
8. Maintain professionalism in self-presentation (i.e., phone etiquette, mannerisms, and personal
appearance) and customize the communication/presentation of company services, one-on-one
and group presentations, and the demonstration of satisfying customer business needs.
9. Compile payroll on a weekly basis
10. Assist All Operations Managers including VP’S in scrutinizing manpower issues to ensure that non billable overtime is kept at minimal levels
11. Provide replacement personnel for full-time accounts when manpower shortages exist
12. Counsel, terminate, and other disciplinary actions
13. Directly supervise employees to ensure that all training requirements are satisfied in accordance
with state laws (if applicable)
14. Conduct on-site inspections of personnel and performance to ensure that contract compliance is
satisfied
Work Experience:
Previous experience of 5 years at least in janitorial management is preferred.
Physical / Mental Requirements:
Work is classified as medium in physical requirements. Requires the ability to lift / carry 50 lbs. Work requires a high attention to detail, the ability to cope with mental demands, prioritize and process information quickly with accuracy and clarity.
