Position Overview
The Implementation Specialist will support the implementation leads for the end-to-end management of technology deliverables. This role will be essential to ensure the consistent and timely implementation of projects. The Implementation Specialist role will be the cornerstone in ensuring clear, accurate and timely deliverables of project requirements to internal and external stakeholders.
Duties and Responsibilities
· Develop and maintain system functional documents by client.
· Liaison with implementation and account leads to identify and define system material needs for designated clients.
· Responsible for development, updates, and overall maintenance of system materials for designated clients.
· Manage timelines and deliverables for all system materials and provide updates to the implementation and account leads.
· Assist implementation leads with managing and tracking overall project timelines
· Responsible for following the company standard operating procedures for material development and approval.
· Work with the editorial team following editorial standard operating procedures to ensure accuracy of materials.
· Assist Submission Specialist with coordinating system materials for client regulatory review
· Assist implementation and account leads with the administrative system configuration and maintenance.
· Assist the Director, Technology Operations with creating tasks for the development team via the development tracking tool (currently Jira).
· Work with the Director, Technology Operations to assign tasks to upcoming sprints to ensure committed timelines are achieved.
· Provide project updates to the implementation leads which including but is not limited to, overall status of the project, timeline trending, roadblocks, and escalations.
· Monitor, manage, and flag the progress of all projects in Jira.
· Generate reports on all Jira deliverables daily, weekly, and as they relate to current and future sprint plans.
· Lead daily discussions between the implementation team and the development team on project progression.
· Attend internal and external meetings as needed.
· Support virtual engagements as needed.
· Assist with system testing as needed.
· Assist Director, Technology Operations and Director, Technology Support to define and train organization on current and new system functionality.
· Assist Director of Technology Operations to track and maintain the list of system functionalities for the company as well as by client.
Qualifications
- Expert in managing a high volume of work in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.
· Knowledge and proven experience and understanding of promotional medical communications, and speaker’s bureau.
· Demonstrated experience and success working in a collaborative, team environment.
· 3-5 years of experience is preferred.
· Proven organizational skills, including the ability to work with a team to prioritize and multi-task.
· Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills.
· Excellent client management skills.
· Highly motivated, self-starter.
· Demonstrated proficiency with Jira, Workfront, Microsoft Office (Excel, PPT, Word, Outlook etc.).
· Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
