$20-$32 based on experience level
We are looking to fill a range of Industrial Maintenance Technician roles at our Albany facility.
Qualified applicants should have the experience and strong knowledge of mechanical devices and maintenance procedures, with good hands-on skills and ability to repair, rebuild, and perform preventative maintenance on plant equipment. The individual will be given an introductory training on plant maintenance and safety procedures, and basic tools and equipment for the job. Some of the job responsibilities at this level are as follows:
- Diagnosing, troubleshooting and performing all routine maintenance and repairs
- Assisting with/performing installation of new equipment
- Repairing conveyors, pumps, plumbing/pipes, electrical motors & controls
- Performing electrical repairs
- Cleaning, lubrications, oiling
- Repairs air valves, burners, boilers, air compressors, etc.
At more advanced levels, the individual should be able to:
- Take initiative to find and recognize problems
- Take necessary steps to resolve issue with minimal to no supervision
- Capable of training lower-level Maintenance Mechanics
- Capable of leading projects & installation of new equipment
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $32.00 per hour
