Industrial Painter/Sandblaster Job at McGill Restoration, Inc
Job Role
McGill Restoration is now seeking an Industrial Painter/Sandblaster for commercial development to join our rapidly growing team! If you have prior experience or are looking to start your career, now is the time to apply!
Responsibilities
- Clean and prepare surfaces
- Prepare paints for application
- Apply paints using a variety of tools such as airbrushes, stencils, rollers or brushes
- Maintain equipment and ensure safety standards are being met
- Clean work area after completing a job and carefully follow all guidelines for the safe handling and disposal of hazardous chemicals and waste
Qualifications
- Experience in industrial equipment painting, preferred
- Experience wet painting using a gun, preferred
- Ability to differentiate between colors
- Ability to use hand and power tools and equipment
- Ability to work with all levels of employees
- Ability to work on multiple priorities with frequent interruptions
- Strong communication skills
- Industry Training & Certification
- Experience mixing colors
- CDL or Class B Driver s License, preferred
- Extensive standing, stooping, walking, handling and grasping with repetitive motions.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

- $20.00 to $27.00, based on experience
