Our company is structured across 2 divisions – the Display Case Division, located in North Prairie, WI, Waukesha, WI, Pewaukee, WI and Mukwonago, WI and the Refrigeration Systems Division, located in Ramsey, MN and Dyersville, IA.

What Will You Do?

As a Sales Engineer, you will communicate with our external customers, internal Engineering and Purchasing departments, outside Sales Managers, and Sales Representatives on day-to-day activities regarding quotations, orders, delivery schedules, and designs/applications for commercial and industrial refrigeration products and systems. You will research and develop plans and design mechanical, electrical, and electromechanical products and systems based on information provided by customers. You will also thoroughly transfer information to our Engineering department when an order is received. The following are the essential duties and responsibilities you can expect to do:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Effectively communicate with internal and external customers about project requirements and provide thorough documentation of all project-related communications
• Design, research, and analyze refrigeration mechanical and electrical equipment by selecting components to meet system requirements based on quality, cost effectiveness, energy efficiency, and competitiveness for refrigeration systems, ice arenas, and electrical distribution systems
• Coordinate preparation of product or system layout and detailed drawings and schematics with Engineering/Drafting and skilled onsite production team
• Provide proper documentation of all conversations and decisions with customers, contractors, RSM’s, Reps, and Service pertaining to equipment orders and proposals from conception, through, and after delivery and start-up
• Prepare and review documentation to include customer quotations, proposals, change orders, manuals, and specifications as well as ensure invoicing documents are clear and accurate
• Other duties may be assigned

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required of you for this position:

• Bachelor’s Degree; Engineering degree preferred but will review an equivalent combination of technical training and knowledge
• Five (5) plus years of related design and troubleshooting experience of refrigeration systems
• Parallel refrigeration system knowledge
• Industrial refrigeration system and natural refrigerant knowledge is desired
• Experience with working in a business system (ERP) preferred
• High working knowledge of MS Office: Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Highly organized and detail oriented individual
• Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills
