As part of our technical sales team, you will be responsible for a variety of duties. You will have an opportunity to learn our growing business and partner with our customers. Be part of our strategy to be our customer’s first and only call by:

  • Scheduling and making sales calls (in person) with new and established customers, end users, and contractors to achieve our sales goals and targets.
  • Prepares estimates and quotations and follow-up with our customers to solve their challenges.
  • Initiates joint sales calls and jobsite visits with customers including troubleshooting problems as a value-added partner.
  • Monitors material inventories, DC business levels, handles complaints, assists with collections, follow-up on orders and deliveries and other miscellaneous activities.
  • Performs business reporting, forecasting, and planning including system input to track results.

Qualifications

  • Requires B.S. degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology or related fields, or equivalent practical field experience (3 years in a similar industry)
  • Requires three years engineering based field experience with emphasis on sales and marketing.
  • Requires two years manufactured products experience with refractory strongly preferred.
  • Requires proficient in MS Office, familiar with QAD, CRM, Lotus Notes and Heat Transfer Program.
  • General knowledge of refractories is strongly preferred.
  • Must also have excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to read and sketch prints and understand drawings.
