Information System Security Officer, Top Secret/SCI Clearance Job at AMERICAN SYSTEMS
WANTED: A mission-driven professional with an Information System Security Officer background and an Active Top Secret/SCI clearance to become our next Information System Security Officer to support classified and unclassified Training Systems for network operations at 17 TRSS Goodfellow AFB (Texas). The candidates will provide technical support for the software, hardware, wired and wireless network infrastructure, and system security for JWICS, LMS, OPS, HDEV, NSAnet, SDEV, UDEV, RLE, UTS and UTS-S on 17 TRG networks; as well as software and systems residing as guest systems and networks used in support of 17 TRG training operations.

A week in the life of an Information System Security Officer:
- Implement IT security measures and procedures.
- Report incidents to the Information System Security Manager (ISSM) and other designated reporting chains.
- Coordinate system level responses to unauthorized disclosures.

Required Education and Skills:
- Active TS/SCI clearance.
- DoD 8570.01M IAT Level III
- A minimum of three years on-the-job experience in organizational cybersecurity program management.
- Experience in implementation of IT security measures and procedures, including reporting incidents to the Information System Security Manager (ISSM) and other designated reporting chains, and coordinating system level responses to unauthorized disclosures.
- Applicant shall have knowledge with a minimum of 3 years of experience in at least 3 of the following applications:
- Security Center
- Nessus Scanner
- Nessus Manager
- Xacta
- Log Correlation Engine
- SCAP Scanner
- STIGs
- eMASS
- Applicant shall have a minimum of 3 years of experience in the following skillsets:
- Risk Management Framework
- Audit Log reviews
- Design, implement, and maintain Incident
- Response Plan
- Generate plans of actions and milestones
- (PO&M)
- Performing Security Control Assessments
