Your Valued Contributions:
Ensure proper computer operations so that end users (employees) can accomplish organizational tasks. This includes receiving, prioritizing, documenting and actively resolving end user help requests. Problem resolution may involve the use of diagnostics and help request tracking tools, as well as require that the individual give hands-on help at the desktop level.

Your Valued Contributions:
Ensure proper computer operations so that end users (employees) can accomplish organizational tasks. This includes receiving, prioritizing, documenting and actively resolving end user help requests. Problem resolution may involve the use of diagnostics and help request tracking tools, as well as require that the individual give hands-on help at the desktop level.
1. Assists staff with using systems, including network, phone, electronic messaging, and specialty equipment as needed.
a. Field incoming help requests from end users via both telephone and work orders in a courteous manner.
b. Document all pertinent end user identification information, including name, department, contact information, and nature of problem or issue.
c. Build rapport and elicit problem details from help desk customers.
d. Prioritize and schedule problems. Escalate problems (when required) to the appropriately experienced technician.
e. Record, track, and document the help desk request problem-solving process, including all successful and unsuccessful decisions made, and actions taken, through to the final resolution.
f. Apply diagnostic utilities to aid in troubleshooting.
g. Identify and learn appropriate software and hardware used and supported by the organization.
h. Perform hands-on fixes at the desktop level, including installing and upgrading software, implementing file backups, and configuring systems and applications.
i. Test fixes to ensure problem has been adequately resolved.
j. Perform post-resolution follow-ups to help requests. k. Develop help sheets and knowledge base articles for end users.
Required Training & Experience:
- Ability to use, modify, and troubleshoot all functions of all systems within the health center related to the job including network, phone, electronic messaging, specialty equipment, and Electronic Health Records effectively.
- Word and Excel
- Possesses the ability to secure transportation to allow for reliable and timely work attendance, including when business is required to be conducted at sites other than your primary worksite throughout our service area, which may occur frequently and sporadically throughout the day, is required.
