Innkeeper Job at The Woodford Inn
The Historic Woodford Inn in Versailles, KY is a Bed & Breakfast in the heart of Woodford County, KY. We have a year-round opening for a dynamic innkeeper/housekeeper to help create an exceptional guest experience. The position involves serving breakfast, interaction with guests, cleaning and resetting rooms, answering phones, taking reservations, cleaning common areas and some laundry. Other duties may be assigned as necessary as the position is responsible for the care and maintenance of the Inn. We are looking for a candidate who is both personable and can exhibit outstanding hospitality. Experience in hospitality is preferred but not required. Compensation is commensurate with skill, ability, and experience.
Requirements of the Innkeeper:
- Hotel experience preferred (Experience at a Bed & Breakfast is a bonus!)
- Basic cooking skills a must.
- Must have excellent attention to detail, ability to set priorities, multi-task and meet deadlines.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Provide quality service for guests and maintain positive guest relations.
- Ability to work independently with little supervision at times, but also work in a team environment during events.
- Desire to meet/exceed high standards.
- Must have reliable transportation and working phone.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time and be able to lift 40 lbs. repetitively.
- Must be able to bend and clean under and around room furnishings.
- This is a Non-smoking property.
- This position does not include housing.

Pay: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour
