Job Responsibilities:
Demonstrate courtesy and professionalism while servicing the needs of our customer base in a high volume inbound and outbound call environment
Communicate with existing customer base through warm calling, qualifying and closing deals in the daily transportation spot market
Ability and willingness to make 40+ quality outbound sales solicitation type phone calls per day during the regular course of business
Outside the box thinker that can formulate and present multiple service options that can help meet each customer’s specific needs
Master market trends and seasonality and the effect they have on the transportation
Convert new relationships, brought on by Sales Executives, into repeat business
Develops customer relationships and contacts at multiple levels within the customers’ organization
Be a team player with a willingness to do what needs to be done to meet our customers’ expectations
Demonstrate and ability to learn and grow within the office and provide insight on future career paths within the organization
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree preferred but not required
Background in transportation, warehousing or 3rd party logistics (3PL) required
Driven, enthusiastic and highly motivated
Strong communication skills
Ability to work in a team environment, while also delivering independent results
Strong ability to persuade, motivate and influence others
Ability to prioritize, multi-task and manage time effectively
Excellent systems knowledge: MS Office, CRM and internet
