Job Summary
Kensington is hiring for three Inside Sales Partners that thrive in a quick sales cycle environment. The successful candidate will play a fundamental role in achieving our ambitious customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives. You must be team oriented, have a sales acumen. The ideal candidate will also be a critical thinker, closer mentality and willing to learn nuances of the Kensington business.
Responsibilities
- Support customers by working directly with key contacts to ensure prompt and accurate sku set ups, price changes, program updates, special pricing programs and response to requests
- Drive new end-user opportunities to grow Kensington business
- Maintain central file for channel pricing rebates
- Ensure new product is accurately set up, and track that customers are placing appropriate orders
- Work closely with internal teams, including Regional Product Marketing, Sales, Global Marketing & Customer Experience to provide accurate product information and images to distributors and other partners
- Track customers’ compliance by validating product information (i.e., content, inventory, pricing) on their websites and customer portals
- Review weekly POS trends, identify slow moving and top selling skus. Proactively work with the internal teams to address potential opportunities/ issues.
- Create pipeline through new opportunities
- Generate reports and data analysis to Account Managers as needed
- Provide month-end and quarter-end support to ensure orders are received and scheduled to ship
- Heavily utilize Salesforce to manage and prioritize new leads
- Participate in outbound Salesforce email campaigns to reseller and end user target customers
- Be responsible for all aspects of account management including:
- Prioritize opportunities and driving to close
- Work with cross-functional teams to meet customer needs
- Provide product training
- Continuous account management of current book of business in addition to winning new customers and/or incremental product placement
- Provide administrative support to the Sales organization, i.e., sending out samples, verifying part numbers
Qualifications
- College degree preferred
- Must possess a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and the ability to work independently
- Strong verbal and written communications skills
- Strong team player mindset
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Teams
- Advanced Excel skills preferred
- Business to business sales or other related skills are preferred
- Inside Sales or outbound selling Experience preferred
- Experience working with Salesforce.com preferred
- Based in Austin, TX preferred
