Job Objective:

The Sales Representative will work in conjunction with the Sales Director to bring new companies into the EASE portfolio of customers. These new customers should fit into the EASE model of companies desiring high levels of communication, responsiveness, and relationships.

Essential Duties:

· Add clients that fit the EASE operational model.

· Obtain established annual load volume.

· Obtain established annual revenue levels.

· Strategically reach out to existing customers.

· Strategically re-engage clients.

· Reach out to customers they've brought in.

· Bring RFQ opportunities.

· Provide insights into results.

· Full overview of prospects.

· Get EASE name in front of prospects.

· Promote EASE name to make team successful.

· Efficiently tie BD and Operations Teams together.

· Build partnership with Carrier Development for RFQs/Prospecting.

· Attend meetings, conferences and conventions to prospect and promote EASE.

Day to Day:

· Work with prospect and customer contacts to understand their shipping needs.

· Drive the development and cultivation of positive business relationships with the company’s logistics customers.

· Prospect new business through interaction with current and potential points of contact.

· Prospect new business with a mix of phone calls and in-person visits. This will be a mix of warm leads and cold calling.

· Work with account managers to build relationships with customers.

· Develop strong relationships with customers’ planners, logistics teams, and facilities.

· Customer site visits to cultivate/sustain new business.

· Work closely with carrier procurement to prioritize customer needs to maximize our margin.

· Cultivate and maintain customer relations by participating in out of office meetings, conferences, and industry events.

· Update CRM daily with all pertinent information and outreach.

· Obtain minimum of 1 new client per month starting in month #2 of employment.

· React with sense of urgency to solve problems and look for ways to improve operational inefficiencies.

· Handle and dissolve all AR/AP issues by communicating correct billing processes to Accounting.

· Ensure all operations are reviewed before leaving or assigned to the appropriate personnel.

· Setup monthly customer reports to track and record progress.

· Submit a Duty Delegation sheet to management when you will be out of office.

· Work on specific accounts as needed outside of “typical” business hours. This means being available to answer phone calls and e-mails when needed.

· Report to Operations Manager with any service or operation issues.

· Maintain and update contracts and RFQs and make available to Business Development Director.

· Track and record customer performance (Monthly, Quarterly, Annually).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $148,518.75 per year
