About the job:
The Red Hat Enterprise Sales team is looking for an Inside Sales Account Representative to join us in Raleigh, NC. In this role, you will lead the enterprise inbound demand response, supporting enterprise account executives to manage growth in key accounts. You’ll get an opportunity to collaborate with multicultural internal and external teams to grow the business, creating solutions that will serve Red Hat’s enterprise customers.
What you will do:
- Own inbound demand responses to generate incremental bookings through selling Red Hat’s comprehensive enterprise solutions
- Provide sales support to a designated group of account executives through lead routing, responding to customer inquiries, customer relationship management (CRM) tracking, demo and meeting coordination, and contract, pricing, and renewals support
- Manage forecasts and pipeline, record sales activity, and schedule follow-up activities as needed, tracking customer data using CRM tools
- Collaborate with the Finance, Bid Desk, Legal, Business, and Operations teams to support quotations, price negotiations, contract development and order fulfillment while ensuring compliance with internal processes
- Meet assigned sales quotas
- Bachelor's degree
- Solid organizational, time management, and project management skills
- High-quality customer service skills to build relationships with customers
- Ability to collaborate within a team and coordinate complex activities with a diverse set of internal stakeholders
- Ability to use CRM systems
- Experience working in a technology or software sales support position in outside sales, inside sales, telemarketing, or sales administration; record of achieving sales goals
- Understanding of the complete sales cycle management from prospecting to closing
- Ability to build long-term relationships with customers by establishing trust and credibility
- Excellent communication skills in English
The following is considered a plus:
- Familiarity with the IT industry and open source principles
