Inside Sales Support Job at Johnson Barrow

This position contributes to the success of Johnson Barrow INW Boise office by serving as a support role to the Outside Sales Engineer. Activities will range from pre-sale support such as estimating, quoting, and communicating directly with customers, as well as providing post-sale support and on-site technical assistance to our customers.

Job Duties
- Directly support outside sales personnel with project management, workflow, and associated tasks
- Assist with the design/layout of commercial HVAC systems, including selection of components and layout of refrigerant piping
- Prepare equipment selections and quotes for the Outside Sales team based on mechanical plans and specifications
- Provide first level technical assistance for equipment installations and installed equipment
- Provide customer service regarding material and order status via phone and/or email
- Complete order entry and quote preparations of commercial HVAC equipment using Microsoft Dynamics CRM and/or manufacturer's software
- Coordinate with factories/manufacturers to ensure on-time delivery of product
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve the flow of product and process
- Perform analytical and administrative tasks
- Work with key personnel to optimize our costs and customer service
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field preferred
- Experience with commercial HVAC equipment a definite plus
- Experience with AutoCAD or similar design programs
- Thorough understanding of construction and contracting models (Design/Build etc.)
- Creative problem solver with the ability to resolve conflicts and determine a path forward
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Self-starting, dependable, accepts ownership, drives own goals/performance
- Ability to learn and interpret technical and contractual language
