About the Role

As the Inside Sales Representative you will be responsible for reporting to the Senior Manager of Direct Territory AV Sales, as well as collaborating with the Regional Sales Managers to support the sales channel and execute a focused sales strategy within the assigned territory. (EST Time zone preferred)

What You Will Do

  • Represent HARMAN brands as liaison for Sales and administration activities related to product availability, quotation/perform invoices, order processing, product shipment, account status, and after-sale follow-up.
  • Support the RSMs efforts in accounts that have potential and would benefit from increased Harman touches.
  • Present current promotion working to drive Harman specifications
  • Conduct outbound calls and Opportunity development through direct relationships at medium-level accounts.
  • Proactively resolve outstanding customer issues to ensure brand loyalty.
  • Work closely with sales teams and technical resources to achieve sales, margin, and assigned profit goals.
  • Manage inbound inquiries for sales-related topics.
  • Provide daily, weekly and monthly reporting support for the region on sales activities, pipeline, revenue vs. target, etc.
  • Support Sales team by following up with customers on various items, updating CRM system with all sales activities, including managing the pipeline through a defined sales process.

What You Need

  • Minimum 3 years of Inside Sales or Customer Service Experience
  • Experience using a CRM system
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office Suite products.
  • Excellent communications skills
  • Superior follow-up and attention to detail skills
  • Strong ability in problem resolution, team building, and dealing with ambiguity.

  • Experience with MS Dynamics and/or Salesforce
  • Experience using BI Analytics
  • Excellent team working, interpersonal, and customer service skills
  • The ability to multitask and quickly switch your focus
  • Audio/ Video Inside sales experience
