What You’ll Be Doing:
- Ability to perform all physical and administrative tasks involved in the shipping of orders, both government and commercial orders.
- Responsible for performing a variety of task including inspection and material handling.
- Prior to shipment to customer, inspection/audits are performed on product and OEM purchased parts to ensure compliance to sales order requirements.
- Inspector will be required to verify quantity and accuracy or sales order line-item components against the Bill of Materials structures.
- Inspection results are documented electronically, so computer proficiency is necessary.
- Material handling involves unpacking and re-packaging inspected materials : this will include working with shipping containers, pallet jacks, and box tape machines
- Pre-Shipping Inspection experience.
- Computer proficiency/aptitude for counting.
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 30lbs. regularly.
- HS Diploma or GED/HSE
- Shifts: This is a 1st shift position with some flexibility with start time. Pay rate is $18.00an hr.
- Must pass all Pre-employments screenings including /Education Verification/Drug Testing This includes Marijuana.
