Position Overview
To supervise the installation and site operations by leading an install team and effectively responding to the requirements of the internal clients which are the company project managers. The Installation Superintendent is responsible for maintaining all aspects of the installation process from materials into final product build out. The Installation Superintendent must maintain the project schedule while maintaining safety and quality control.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsibility to achieve installation goals per project schedule.
- Plan installation to a budget agreed upon with the project management team to execute installation in agreement to Client’s deliverables.
- Examine the contract blueprints and drawings specifications and assist Project Managers in the development of on- site procedures
- Directing, handling, and overseeing the field crew to ensure all installed elements are secured following engineering details
- Ensure adequate manpower is available for each task and compliant work performed
- Develop, coordinate, and maintain excellent client, consultant, contractor, and project team member relationships.
- Coordinate equipment and logistical needs to the management team in advance and as situations develop
- Ensure job site safety is always held to a high standard and that all employees hold themselves to the same standards
- Establish and maintain document control procedures.
- Perform quality control duties and responsibilities on the work performed.

Qualifications/Experience/ Skills and Attributes
- 5-years’ experience in a technical discipline and/or extensive experience in production/manufacturing operations.
- Strong knowledge of production machinery and techniques
- Excellent organization and time management skills with proven ability to take initiative and prioritize.
- Commitment to, and working knowledge of, workplace Health, Safety, Environment & Quality
- Must be able to read and understand Installation and Engineered drawings.
- Previous experience working in a fast-paced environment.
- Moderate experience using relevant computer systems (Procore, BlueBeam, Excel, Word)
- A personal values system demonstrably consistent with organizational values
- Possess excellent people management skills including: o coordination and scheduling o communicating and working with people at all levels of the organization, and of different cultures o being approachable
Preferred:
- Exposure to theme park sectors or similar
Work Schedule / Conditions
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be working in an outdoor field site setting.
- Hours: 6:30am – 3:30pm (MON-FRI) and is based on daylight hours and project needs
- Physical Requirements – The physical demands described are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. o Work environment requires alertness to surroundings and potential dangers to themselves and others. o Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls, and reach with hands and arms. o Must have agility and a good sense of balance, willing to work in high places. o Required to bend, stoop, and lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis. o Specific vision abilities include close vision, color, distance, peripheral and ability to adjust focus.
