Position Overview:
The Instructional Design position is responsible for consulting with internal stakeholders to create learning solutions, managing, and creating instructional design training materials, collaborating with partners and across the enterprise, and designing and developing learning solutions. The position will also manage mid to large-scale instructional design initiatives.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Oversee the development of wholistic learning solutions and supporting materials using established instructional design methodologies and best practices (e.g., storyboards, project schedules, video scripts, job aids, and courseware).Build assessments to support and analyze learning effectiveness
- Leverage business input and analysis to ensure objectives are well understood and supported activities are designed to meet performance expectations.
- Design training and job aids for instructor-led and online delivery
- Develop learning objectives to include audience, behavior, conditions, and standards
- Design and create a variety of materials, and apply fundamental research skills to instructional design projects
- Assess the current state of training content and drive improvements, creativity, and innovation in the way training content is displayed and distributed
- Develop and implement multiple Learning Projects, Learning Games, Distance Learning Training, Motion Graphics, Computer-Based Learnings
Here’s What You’ll Bring To The Team
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills
- Experience with the creative use of instructional design technologies
- Strong commitment to Leadership Development philosophies and best practices
- High degree of adaptability and flexibility amid rapidly changing priorities in a collaborative work environment
- Strong skills in creative problem solving, building relationships, and working across multiple teams/departments
- Expertise in adult learning and all aspects of instructional design for various formats, including instructor-led, eLearning, mobile, and various types of performance support
- Superior organizational, communication, and project management skills, with the ability to meet tight deadlines, manage heavy workloads, and prioritize tasks
- Experience using Instructional Design software such as Storyline and Captivate
- Experience with and commitment to displaying executive presence, leading teams through major changes, empowering others to lead, and providing coaching when needed
- Bachelor’s Degree OR equivalent combination of education and experience
- Understanding of next generation technologies related to cloud, mobile, social, or big data
- Experience with administrative duties including submitting IT tickets and managing data
- Background in retail and/or repair preferred
- 2+ years’ experience applying instructional design and adult learning methodologies to development and implementation of web-based training and other instructional materials
- Skills in web and/or app development and design are preferred

Salary Range: $42,694.00 - $56,925.024
Bonus Potential: 5%
