As an instructional designer, you’ll be responsible for partnering with business leaders to analyze, design, and execute learning strategies at Progressive. Our learning organization develops training for Analytics, Corporate Legal and IT. You’ll coordinate, monitor, and maintain all facets of learning solution content, online performance support, course measurement strategy, and job aids within one or more areas. You’ll ensure the learning material, methodology and modality are current, relevant, and of high quality, while producing the intended training and business outcomes for your internal customer group. In addition, you’ll consult and collaborate with training managers, leaders, process consultants, and other learning professionals to assess how learning can best impact business priorities.

Must-have qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in Instructional Design
  • In lieu of a degree, a minimum of 5 years of experience in instructional design/development, teaching/training delivery, web design or responsibilities that involve performance improvement initiatives

Preferred skills

  • Experience developing eLearning, performance support solutions (such as job aids, demo videos, etc.) and instructor-led learning solutions (virtual and live)
  • Proven expertise leveraging the ADDIE model
  • Knowledge of eLearning tools such as Lectora, Articulate Storyline, Captivate or similar
  • Experience developing and implementing learning measurement plans
  • Experience working in a collaborative environment with leaders, subject matter experts and other team members

Compensation

  • $61,900 - $99,800/year depending on position level and experience
  • Gainshare bonus up to 24% to 30% (depending on position level) of your eligible earnings based on company performance
