Job Description:
SUMMARY: The instructor will organize and draft a curriculum that breaks a complex subject into blocks or units of instruction, graphics, and integrates them into supply focused training. Courses may be instructor based, computer-based, simulator based, interactive, or non-interactive rather over-the-shoulder assistance or in a classroom.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Job duties include the following, but are not limited to:
- Responsible for curriculum revision and maintenance. Technical curriculum may involve supply automations system (GCSS-A), or more highly technical research within regulations, policies, procedures and various websites (such as ARIMS, EFLIPL, USAFMSA, AESIP, DST and other related sites).
- Provide resident staff logistics expertise in the following logistics disciplines: Supply activities for CL I, II, III, IV, V, VII, VIII, and IX commodities; Property accountability, key control, and security; unit movement; supply room operation practices and procedures; understanding of legacy fundamentals (SPBS-R, ULLS S4, PBUSE) and how it translates to GCSS-A terminology; Inventory procedures and logistics readiness reporting. Requirements and use of the Hand-Held Terminal (HHT) for conducting inventories (Sensitive Item, Cyclic, Change of Command).
- Teaching tailored technical courses in accordance with approved curriculum to maintain proficiency and to evaluate and develop new instructional techniques/courses.
- Incorporation of new curriculum in the teaching process (e.g., incorporate relevant training according to Army TELS transition to GCSS-A; to include sustainment training).
- Property management, logistics standard operating procedures, shortage annex procedures, control, and security.
- Management practices and procedures (Brigade, Battalion S-4 and Unit Level Supply), inventories, logistics TELS, assist Property Book Officers with serial number validations and logistics readiness reporting.
- Provide a comprehensive assessment of training and shall define training requirements to include:
- An analysis of perishable skills
- Identification of Terminal Learning Objectives (TLO)
- Development of outcome metrics
- Development of test materials and hands-on evaluation for logistics training
- Prepare and deliver briefings, point papers, reports, fact sheets, to their assigned command.
- Maintain verification systems to identify shortcomings by examining unit maintenance and supply activities and processes to ensure compliance with applicable Army Regulations, field manuals, technical publications, and FORSCOM policies.
- Informs Team Chief on logistical matters and results of field assessments.
- Up to 25% travel required to provide unit training and assistance, attend conferences and training.
Job Requirements:
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma or GED
- 5 years’ experience in Army Unit Supply, BN S4 and PBO Level Operations.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Must have experience with GCSS-A and eFLIPL.
- Valid driver license and transportation. Supporting documentation may be requested upon time of hire.

Instructions:
- Project Manager and/or Hiring Manager will complete the Employee Requisition Form for each job vacancy.
- The Employee Requisition Form is submitted to the Corporate PM to review and approve. The CPM submits the request to HR for review and Posting. The PM and/or Hiring Manager is cc’d on the email to HR indicating that the CPM has approved recruitment for the job vacancy.
- HR creates the Job Posting and sends the link to the CPM, PM, and/or Hiring Manager for their review and confirmation that the position is posted.
- Candidate resumes who match the Employee Requisitions requirements outlined will be provided to the PM, cc’d CPM within five (5) business days of the postings.
- The PM and/or Hiring Manager will choose Candidates for interviews.
- The PM and/or Hiring Manager will work with HR/Corporate Recruiter to set-up interview.
- If the PM and/or Hiring Manager chooses a Candidate, an Offer Letter Request form is submitted to HR, cc’ing the Recruiter.
- The Offer Letter is created and submitted to the Director of Accounting and Finance to ensure the salary is valid. The Director will approve or deny the request.
- HR/Recruiter will send the Candidate the New Hire Documents and Offer Letter via email.
- The New Hire returns the signed Offer Letter within 48 hours, and the job vacancy is closed by HR.
- HR/Recruiter sends a weekly Recruiting Report to the Executive Team for review prior to each Monday Operations Conference Call.
