Instrumentation Technician Job at SST Direct
Seeking an Instrumentation Technician with industrial electrical experience for a direct hire opportunity with our client in Spokane, WA.
This position offers full benefits including PTO, Medical, Dental and 401k!
Pay rate is starting at $35.47/hour.
Responsibilities:
- Install, test, inspect, repair, program, tune, maintain and calibrate equipment in a heavy industrial environment
- Analyze and troubleshoot PLC control logic
- Troubleshoot and repair AC and DC drive systems
- Collaborate with other maintenance and operations technicians to troubleshoot and repair process related challenges
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of industrial electrical experience
- 2 year degree in Electrical or Instrument Technology or equivalent technical experience or apprenticeship required
- Ability to safely perform essential functions of this job including work in industrial/manufacturing environment (climbing ladders, walking distances, working at heights on platforms, work in tight or close spaces, etc.)
- Demonstrated ability to read and understand blueprints, schematics, and engineering and electrical code specifications as well as read and interpret technical manuals
- Familiarity with National Electric Code.
- Knowledge and troubleshooting of DCS, PLC control logic, drives and power distribution.
