Position Description: *
We are Renegades! We are searching for Account Managers to create and exceptional customer experience! Account Managers work with a group of assigned customers, with the goal of retaining and creating lasting relationships including the development of new business from existing clients.
There is no greater position within Renegade Insurance as you are talking with and ensuring the retention of our customers. In this role, you will work with various internal teams to improve the entire customer experience. If you have a passion to serve customers, we’d like to meet you.
Responsibilities
- Responds to customer requests for account or policy changes, billing inquiries, and coverage verification. Delivers World Class Service and completes all customer activities with urgency.
- Educates customers on the importance of insurance and the protection of their business through insurance products.
- Maximizes opportunities for retention and new business by leveraging product knowledge and exemplary relationship building skills.
- Secures documentation needed by the agency, including signed applications, replacement cost estimates, rejections of coverage, and confirmations.
- Works with internal team members to ensure the renewal process and service requests are handled accurately and with a sense of urgency.
- Facilitates communication with customers and claims staff to make the customer journey as painless as possible.
- Stays well-informed with industry standards, current rates, coverages, insurance products, insurance policies, and carriers.
Qualifications
- Proven relationship-building, negotiation, problem-solving, communication, presentation, listening and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as a highly collaborative member of a team.
- Ability to work in a fast pace and rapidly changing environment.
- Skill, experience, proficiency, and ability to communicate regarding company policies and underwriting guidelines of multiple carrier partners.
- Must be able to research and analyze complex problems.
- Comfort with customer interactions through various communication methods and must be able to represent the organization professionally and responsibly.
- Demonstrated proficiency with computer software.
- Knowledge of CRM (Salesforce) and Lead Management software preferred.
- EPIC knowledge is preferred.
- Property & Casualty insurance license is required.
- 1-2 years of Commercial Insurance Account Management.
- 3-5 years of Personal Lines Insurance Account Management.
