Duties

  • To teach and mentor the next generation of insurance professionals
  • Coach agency owners on best practices and strategies for success and provide an accountability partnership to ensure progress toward agency goals
  • Assess and report on the operations of insurance agencies
  • Follow up with agencies to track progress since last visit
  • Make agencies aware of other services we offer
  • Assist agencies in implementing new processes, new workflow, and new technologies
  • Ability to sell self to prospective clients
  • Strategize with agency leadership on ways to improve customer retention and sales, leverage technology, employ proactive financial management, and locate and retain top talent

Requirements:

  • Team oriented disposition
  • Able to travel up to 12 days a month
  • Insurance Agency Management experience
  • Insurance program development expertise
  • Employee Development experience
  • Well rounded and experienced Property & Casualty professional
  • Laptop with high-speed internet, spyware, and virus protection
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Solid written and oral communication skills
  • Five years’ experience working with or for independent insurance agencies
  • Solutions oriented
  • Conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to sell self to prospective clients
  • Out-of-the-box thinker
  • Experience with Vertafore software preferred
