Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform scheduled cycle counts in an ongoing and sustained manner to ensure the actual physical count is verified against the Computerized Inventory Systems.
  • Open cartons, bundles, and other containers to count items to determine quantity on hand.
  • Ensure materials are in proper locations. Conduct searches in order to locate lost inventory.
  • Perform thorough research and document inventory discrepancies using all available resources to identify root causes in order to resolve discrepancies and reconcile inventory.
  • Report discrepancies of over/under amounts and any damaged products to supervision.
  • Organized thought process with the ability to produce accurate results.
  • Effective prioritization to meet scheduled deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Must be proficient in the English language and writing skills.
  • Strong mathematic skills are required.
  • Must have the ability to follow oral instructions.
  • Must have the ability to use PC equipment with various software packages and handheld RF Units.

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • One year of related experience in inventory control / counts.

Physical Requirements: Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach, climb and move about the facility; regularly utilizes depth perception, peripheral vision and close focus; required to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.

Working Conditions: Requires working in warehouse environment with possibility of periods with extreme temperatures. Must be able to stand for long periods of time at an assigned station, navigate stairs to pull parts and be able to lift up to 50lbs. Will be required to operate forklift. Frequent standing, bending, lifting and pulling.
