Our Opportunity:
Martin, one of the nation’s leading providers of custom-tailored solutions for maintenance, repair, and operation supplies (MRO) to the industrial and construction markets, is looking for an Inventory Control Specialist to join our team in Warsaw, IN. Our dedicated inventory control specialist takes on the challenge of effectively managing the inventory needed to keep production running without interruption to ensure the Martin motto of “Helping Companies Operate Better” comes to fruition.
What You'll Do:
- Manage onsite customer inventory
- Provide inventory reporting as requested and scheduled
- Analyze product consumption and supply levels
- Manage and communicate inventory levels on site at customer and in warehouse locations
- Understand Min/Max Levels and what business requirements necessitate changes
- Work with the customer to obtain forecast information
- Ensure adherence to inventory policies and cycle count reporting
- Work with vending personnel to document and maintain processes and best practices
- Ability to maintain vending quantities, for Tool Crib, ensuring product is available
- Participates in Quarterly Business Reviews
- Develop and nurture Supplier relationships incl. lead time updates and expedite
- Support customer service, warehouse, vending, and technical teammates.
