Inventory Control Associates Executive Description of Role: The Inventory Control Supervisor ensures that Inventory Control is operating at a level that achieves KPI expectations set forth by Senior Leadership. The Inventory Control Supervisor must engage, develop and lead their Associates to run their daily operations in accordance with achieving daily KPI expectations. The Inventory Control Supervisor must ensure that their associates are being held accountable for lack of execution of achieving KPIs. Inventory Control Level of Expectation:
1.Ensure that IC KPIs are being met daily in accordance to the daily expectation for pulling and putting away pallets per hour. The pallet goal for IC is 26/HR per Associate
2.Ensure that associates below the productivity goal expectation set forth by Senior Leadership is held accountable for productivity. This expectation is expected weekly.
3. Ensure that every pallet put away and placed into a Row/Section is properly scanned and Quality measures are taken.
4. Ensure that every pallet put away follows the Gaylord, Gaylord, Topper stacking standard.
5. Ensure that every pallet earmarked/load sheeted is pulled “same day” for outbound expectation.
6. Ensure that pallets needed from remote buildings arrive in a timely manner in order to hit the shipped plan for that pallet.
7. Ensure pallets are placed and scanned into the proper store bin/staging location.
8. Ensure that every Post Stage location is emptied by COB or COS. • Ensure that every pallet is placed in the proper section/row that aligns with the signage.
9. Ensure that associates are held accountable for scanning opportunities.
10.Ensure that Shift to Shift set up and Housekeeping expectations are met daily.
Requirements:Inventory Control Supervisor Daily Routines:
1. Arrive at the building no later or earlier than 30 minutes before the start of the shift.
2. The first 30 minutes is spent on preparing your work areas for the arrival of your associates.
3. Startup Meeting starts promptly no later than 5 minutes after that start of the shift.
a. Topics Covered in Start Up Meeting:
i. Safety: Announce how many “Days Safe” the building has had, Anything related or needed to announce regarding safety.
ii. Associate Recognition: Production Winners. Previous Days Performance
iii. Current Days Workload: How many receiving pallets expected.
iv. Stretch
v. Go to Work 4. Associates “FIRST PRODUCTIVE ACTION” should be no later than 10 minutes after the start of the shift.
5. Meet with all Shipping Supervisor 30 minutes after the start of the shift to align on staffing and expectations.
6. Meet with the Shipping Supervisor “MID DAY” to align on achieving that day’s productivity expectations. This meeting will happen at 1030am daily for 1st shift and 630pm daily for 2nd shift.
7. Take an HOUR break for lunch.
8. Provide your Shipping/IC Manager with a daily update after Mid-Day meeting is completed.
9. Associates “LAST PRODUCTIVE ACTION” should be no earlier than 5 minutes before the end of the shift.
10. Housekeeping and shift to shift set up is complete.
11. At the end of the shift, turn in all WPS sheets to HR.
12. Clock out NO LATER than 30 minutes after shift completion.
