Inventory Specialist - Charlotte, NC (2am-10:30am) Job at Great Lakes Petroleum Co
Description:
On a daily basis and in a timely manner, the Inventory Specialist ensures that inventory is correct and accounted for on all trucks/trailers and other outside inventory sources. Keeps all records organized and noted appropriately with updates.
- Maintains all inventory related data
- Assists Billing Manager and Billers with discrepancies and needed adjustments throughout the day
- Adjusts inventory reports to account for new BOLs, all inventory, and adjustments by utilizing Operations personnel, 3rd party vendors and terminal support
- Assists in month end closing
- Order all product/maintains invoice related data
- Issues purchase orders
- Reconciles unbilled liabilities
- Back up for all equipment and service related issues
- Required to work 2am-10:30am Monday through Friday
- Demonstrate proficiency in the use of Microsoft-Outlook, Word and Excel, Nitro Pro, and logistics software
- Exhibit the ability to interpret and explain inventory and needed adjustments
- Close attention to detail
- Demonstrate strong organizational, analytical, and multi-tasking skills
- Exhibit ability to reason logically within a timely method
- Demonstrates strong interpersonal behavior
