Directly conducts investigations of a critical or high-risk nature which may involve multiple disciplines. Manages and prioritizes investigative workload effectively and efficiently to achieve accurate and time sensitive results. Coordinates with other investigatory subject matter experts. Ensures that all assigned cases follow standard protocols, and uses the appropriate Sutter Health tools and templates when carrying out all aspects of investigation work. Supports the department in carrying out assigned program initiatives and related program goals and objectives.Job Description:
This role has a work from home opportunity. Candidate should live in the Northern California Sutter Health footprint. Candidate must go on site as needed for meetings, investigations, etc.
EDUCATION:
Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma.
Bachelor's: business, criminal justice, political science, human resources or related field or equivalent education/experience
TYPICAL EXPERIENCE:
5 years of recent relevant experience.
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
Interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrated interview and interrogation/investigation experience.
Demonstrated ability to document investigative results and corrective action plans that are easily understandable to those key stakeholders with a “need-to-know”.
Must be highly organized and detail-oriented.
Demonstrated ability to set priorities and respond to changing demands from multiple sources in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to follow through, meet deadlines, anticipate requirements, and build relationships with minimal oversight.
Analytical, problem-solving and time management skills.
Ability to exercise independent judgment and employ reasoning skills.
Must be able to work collaboratively in a team environment with minimal supervision.
Database management experience and comfort level with internal systems or demonstrated ability to learn new systems.
Demonstrated ability to work with all levels of individuals, from general staff and middle -management to senior executive leaders and medical staff.
Computer skills including MS Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
Must be able to prioritize assignments and tasks to complete investigations within specified time parameters.
Must present as approachable, open, professional and positive.
Must be willing to travel on short notice and during non-standard working hours.
Credible leadership presence with the ability to respond to questions with logic, clarity, calmness and authority, leading to desired support of/actions by others.
Consulting, persuasion and negotiation skills to move others to take appropriate action toward identified/positive outcomes, especially when a direct reporting relationship doesn’t exist.
Pay Range: $50.38 - $75.57 / hour
The salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location. This range has not been adjusted for any specific geographic differential applicable by area where the position may be filled. Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, department equity, training and organizational needs. Base pay is just one piece of the total rewards program offered by Sutter Health. Eligible roles also qualify for a comprehensive benefits package.
