Job Description:
Enhanced Networks is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic IT Helpdesk technician to join our growing business. Excellent customer service is paramount to the position and our mission. Attention to detail and an “can-do” attitude is a must!
Our ideal candidate will have a thorough knowledge of computer software and hardware and a variety of internet applications, networks, and operating systems. The candidate will also have superior troubleshooting and analytical problem-solving skills. This position will require you to provide your own means of travel as well as become a road warrior on an as needed basis. Some travel may require other states and possibly countries as we grow our business abroad. All travel is reimbursable per IRS standard issued mileage rates. Will require “On Call” evening and weekend work as needed per schedule.
What Your Day Will Look Like:
- Manage ticket system queues for both Enhanced Networks, and all of our clients.
- M365 portal administration for all our clients
- Install, configure, troubleshoot and modify hardware, software, printers, phones and various networking equipment at various sites.
- Provide orientation and guidance to users on how to operate new software and computer equipment.
- Perform regular hardware maintenance and data migration oversight. Hardware includes anything with a network port. Servers, Switches, DVR’s, Firewalls, Cameras, Printers, Desktops, Laptops, etc.
- Manage network security permissions and assign users to appropriate groups.
- Receive and maintain inventory of hardware and software and coordinate warranty issues for returns and/or repairs.
- Create instructions and help manage SOP documentation for the Enhanced Networks, Inc. brand.
- Perform weekly and monthly standard operating procedures with follow up resolutions.
Examples are security checks and remedies. Backup validity testing and remedies.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Who You Are:
- Possess an effective, working knowledge of basic IT concepts, operations and procedures.
- Strong computer skills to include expertise and familiarity with Windows-based infrastructure and Microsoft Office & Cloud Applications.
- Capable of thinking and acting independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects and adapt to changing scenarios and circumstances within a complex, fast-paced office environment.
- Comfortable building and maintaining professional relationships and upholding a customer service-oriented attitude.
- Good knowledge of internet security and data privacy principles.
What You Need:
- Minimum of 3 years of professional IT helpdesk experience.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks with extreme attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal and listening skills with the capability to portray oneself as a subject matter expert, while being able to deliver incredible customer service.
- Associate degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or other related field is preferred, but not required.
- Reliable transportation with the ability to travel anywhere at anytime.
- Ability to lift 51lbs and to sit/stand for an extended amount of time.
- Ability to pass in-depth background checks.
