Responsible for identifying strategic and tactical activities for IT enterprise enhancements and sustainment. Assists in IM/IT analysis and prioritizing initiatives, development, and integration efforts to eliminate redundancy and align capabilities. Supports identifying, validating, coordinating, and managing IT Requirements supporting IT Service delivery and management.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF IT REQUIREMENTS MANAGER:
Includes the following:
- Provide the customer with IT technical assistance and expertise related to IT requirements for various systems within the enterprise.
- Assist the customer’s subordinate commands with technical review of IT requirements to ensure they are aligned with the IT strategy for modernization and standardization.
- Review requirements submitted by the customer’s subordinate commands for accuracy, correctness, and completeness, and ensure that IT equipment procurements are in align with the customer’s hardware standards.
- Work with ACC-INSCOM and TAO contracting offices on the submissions of the customer’s G6/GISA Divisions and subordinate commands IT acquisition requirements. Ensure completeness and accuracy of acquisition documents going to ACC-INSCOM and TAO.
- Recommendations on organizational manning and enterprise relationships; preparation of briefings and papers for INSCOM senior-leadership; providing technical expertise and recommendations at planning, implementation meetings; and providing recommendations on G-2 organization and TTPs.
- Attends INSCOM IT meetings, VTCs, and conferences as required and supports coordination with key military and civilian personnel at MSCs, HQDA, Army MACOMs, Services, and Intelligence Agencies
- Supports the development of Unfunded Requirement (UFR) and POM issue papers, organizational and functional lay-downs, POA&M MS Project schedules, facilities planning documents, security architecture planning documents, and strategy and implementation documents and briefings
- Providing IT subject matter expertise on various topics in various forums.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE OF IT REQUIREMENTS MANAGER:
- Prefer a minimum of a BA/BS in technology related field or at least a BA/BS.
- Three years’ experience in IT related field is preferred.
- Top Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain SCI is required
SUPERVISORY/MANAGEMENT AUTHORITY OF IT REQUIREMENTS MANAGER:
Position may include supervisory and/or management authority/mentoring of junior personnel.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES OF IT REQUIREMENTS MANAGER:
- Knowledge of Federal government contracts and programs
- Must have good analytical skills, attention to detail, self-motivation, and highly effective organizational skills
- Must be able to adapt to a changing environment
- Must be proficient in all MS Office suite including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Successfully pass a Federal background check and a drug screen
- Cherokee Federal employees are included as covered employees in U.S. Presidential Executive Order 14042, which mandates Covid vaccines for Federal contractors. Executive Order 14042 is currently blocked from enforcement pending court proceedings. Therefore, Cherokee Federal is halting the application of the mandate; however, if the injunction is lifted, Cherokee Federal will restore administration of the vaccine requirement.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
This position is primarily performed in a climate-controlled office setting.
