Small and medium-sized businesses hire us to become the accounting department or to work with their finance team. eCommerce is a new realm of accounting, and we are one of the few that are blazing trails through it. We provide each client with a bookkeeper and accounting manager to do bookkeeping, payroll, invoicing, bill payments, budgeting, financial analysis, CFO services and more.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A REMOTE IT SPECIALIST
This is a helpdesk job that has the potential to grow into other areas including system administration, business process automation, and more. The IT Specialist will aid employees with support requests and assist in the administration of IT systems. You will also do IT system setup for new employees and customers. There will also be time for strategic technology projects.
Our IT Specialist will help set up systems and accounts for new hires and customers. Your other main task will be to manage help desk tickets in a timely manner via video conferencing, phone or chat. This would require troubleshooting issues and documenting steps with detail on how you were able to close the ticket.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR A REMOTE IT SPECIALIST

• Previous information technology work or education
• Understanding of IT fundamentals including Windows, SaaS apps, and general system administration
• An internal drive to engage, grow, and learn

Experience working in IT ticketing systems (responding, assigning, closing, and following up on incidents, problems, & service requests) is preferred. A completed degree is not necessary for this position.

WORK SCHEDULE
The part-time IT Specialist position offers 15 hours (hours may vary) a week. You will need to be available for a portion of normal business hours for training, meetings, and client/employee communication every day. You have the* flexibility and freedom *to dictate when other work can be completed. All of our employees work from home 100% of the time!
