A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN IT SUPPORT SPECIALIST

As an IT Support Specialist, you provide general technical support services, including asset deployment, software installation, troubleshooting, user assistance, and training. Whether providing assistance in person or remotely, your friendly, helpful attitude always comes through. You respond to level 1 technical issues with efficiency and always with a focus on customer service.

Some of your other tasks include setting up or replacing workstations and mobile devices, installing software, managing network accounts, and performing consultations to understand end-user needs or issues. You love using your critical thinking skills to provide solutions. Most of all, you enjoy being an essential member of a friendly and knowledgeable team that helps our company and clients thrive!

QUALIFICATIONS

• College degree or 2+ years of experience in a related IT field with a high school diploma
• Knowledge about Windows computer basics, iPhones, and iPads
• Familiarity with Windows Stack
• Experience with administrative tasks like setting up new accounts, resetting passwords, unlocking accounts, and deactivating accounts
• Residency in Pittsburgh or the surrounding area
• A desire to work towards certification or to gain experience in the technical support field would be a plus.

WORK SCHEDULE

This full-time IT Support Specialist position typically works Monday - Friday from 8:00 am - 5:00 pm. The schedule could vary based on volume. This position is full-time in our Corporate Office in Saxonburg (this is not a remote position). Occasional travel may be required.
