SunPlus Data Group is looking for an IT Trainer to work for a State Government facility in Richmond, VA.
This is for 12 months to start and is likely to extend
Hours are generally M-F, 40 hrs/week
Pay is $40/hr W2 hourly or $45/hr 1099 (CTC)
**(THIS POSITION IS ON-SITE 3 DAYS A WEEK, MANDATORY, NO EXCEPTIONS)**
It usually takes the State Government about 1-3 weeks to start interviews, just so that you are aware of the timeframe. The first interview will usually be via phone or WebEx.
Job Summary:
The State of VA is seeking an IT Trainer who is an expert candidate to coordinate and implement annual Security Training using the established DMV virtual training platforms, KnowBe4 and Aware.
IT Trainer – DMV Information Security Training Resource
- This position is in the Information Security and Risk Management Program and reports to the Information Security Officer (ISO) for Risk Management (ISO).
- DMV seeks an expert candidate to coordinate and implement annual Security Training using the established DMV virtual training platforms, KnowBe4 and Aware.
- Works with Information Security and Risk Management (ISRM) and DMV IT resources to keep the training platform up-to-date with current staff information.
- Works independently to configure and deploy several required security training to DMV internal and external users within required timelines.
- Monitors training progress, produces reports and communicates the status of training roll-out and completion levels on a weekly basis during training implementations.
- Updates or identifies existing training that meets security role-based training requirements as directed by ISO Management or the DMV Chief Information Security Officer (CISO).
- Implements, manage and report on role-based training using an online platform or in-person/virtual means.
- Creates or identifies system-specific security training. Conducts surveys and other feedback for training as directed by ISO or CISO.
- Position is eligible to telework two days a week, otherwise, reports to DMV Headquarters in Richmond, Virginia.
