Essential Duties and Responsibilities for Janitor

• General cleaning of the building and keeping it maintained and in good condition.
• Scrubbing and sanitizing restroom.
• Vacuum, sweep, dust and mop floor
• Reports any Safety Concern to Manager
• Keep cleaning supplies stocked at appropriate levels.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment
• Clean up spills with appropriate equipment.
• Notify supervisors or managers of major repairs.
• Collect and dispose of trash.
• Complete tasks in a timely manner with minimal supervision.
• Keep cleaning supplies in stock.
• Ad-hoc assignments as needed.

Position requirements for Janitor

• Ability to manage your time efficiently.
• Work well when supervisors are not present.
• Ability to lift at least 20 pounds.
• Good organization skills
• Able to work safely with a variety of cleaning supplies.
• High school diploma.
• Able to use basic cleaning equipment
