As a Job Coach, you will assist adults with mild to moderate disabilities inside and outside the workplace. You will foster their vocational development by providing compassion, support, instruction, and supervision.

Responsibilities

· Work cohesively with the Pantheon Vocational Team colleagues to foster a complete success plan for clients

· Travel within Waukesha County to meet individuals with disabilities to meet them at various work sites where you will support them

· Observe clients' skills, offer positive reinforcement, and identify areas for improvement

· Be an advocate for the individuals where you will counsel and coach them regarding workplace matters

· Maintain daily logs and monthly reports

Qualifications

· No previous experience in working with disabled individuals needed, just your desire to support and train others

· Candidates must be able to pass a background check

· A valid driver's license is required along with a vehicle with current registration and insurance

· High school diploma or GED is required

· Possess a positive attitude with good oral communication skills

· Competent written communication skills

· Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with individuals with disabilities, family members, social workers, employers, and others positively and constructively.
