Dailey Precast LLC, a subsidiary of Peckham Industries, Inc., specializes in the design and manufacturing of quality precast/prestressed concrete products. Our projects include parking structures, building exteriors, bridges, sports stadiums and retaining walls throughout Metro New York/New Jersey, Upstate New York, and New England. Dailey Precast is utilizing the very latest technologies.

Job Summary:

The Project Site Superintendent position serves as the company representative on assigned projects and works with Senior Project Executive to achieve overall responsibility for project completion within its allotted time and budget. The position requires extensive travel throughout the year.

Essential Functions:

• Front line customer service
• Pre-erection survey and site preparation coordination
• Daily delivery coordination of precast to the project
• Erection Material management
• Precast staging area coordination
• Facilitation of erection sequence with erector
• Monitoring of Erecting and safety Plans
• Monitoring of Erector’s Quality Control
• Monitoring of Precast quality
• Daily erection reporting
• Daily discrepancy reporting
• Change order reports
• Field repair coordination
• Internal punch list development and finishing reporting
• Travel – reliable transportation is required. Travel to project sites within 4 hours of plant location

Requirements, Education and Experience:

• 5+ years of relevant construction experience, preferred
• Engineering or Construction Management degree, preferred
• Excellent customer skills, inter-personal and decision-making skills, required
• Organizational and documentation skills and the ability to handle multiple assignments, required.
• Proficient verbal and written English skills, required
• Legal right to work in the U.S.

Work Environment/Physical Demands:

This role will require traveling in the field and various construction sites. This position works on or near moving mechanical parts and loud equipment. Requires the ability to sit or stand for long periods of time as well as lifting, pulling, bending, kneeling, squatting, climbing, walking, reaching, driving, and repetitive motion.

In addition to traveling to construction sites, this role will require some use of standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers.
