Job Responsibilities:

• Reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable aging to the general ledger
• Monitor, analyze and reconcile prepaid expenses, miscellaneous receivables, accruals and other balance sheet accounts
• Prepare and post journal entries as needed
• Assist the Controller or management in tracking and forecasting expense activity
• Support operations personnel with daily, weekly, and monthly metric calculations
• Assist in monthly closing, annual budgets, audits, system implementations
• Receive customer payments via credit card or electronic check
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies in payments or accounts
• Continuous improvement of processes

Qualifications:

• BA/BS degree from an accredited four-year college or university in Accounting or Business (Preferred)
• Up to 1 year of experience in corporate accounting function (Preferred)
• Excellent numerical and analytical skills
• Knowledge of accounting and financial reporting competencies
• Good organizational abilities
• Proficiency in MS Office and competency in computer software
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
• Must be dependable, able to multi-task and the ability to meet strict deadlines
