Juvenile Probation Officer Job at Peoria County
This Officer is responsible for all duties as described in Chapter 730, Illinois Compiled Statutes, Act 110, Section 12. All officers are responsible for completing initial risk assessments; skill building; case plans and Pre-Sentence Investigations. These tools will assist the officer to determine appropriate referrals and treatment needs. This officer must be able to provide a presence in the community by completing community contacts based on the assessed level of supervision.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four (4) year college/university is required. A resident of the State of Illinois within 90 days of the date of appointment. Certified eligible for employment by the Administrative Office of the Illinois Courts Non-Supervisory eligibility list. Complete and submit (AOIC link below).
