The Cyert Center was founded in 1971 by working parents at Carnegie Mellon University, for working parents. The Cyert Center currently serves 180 children in two locations, with future expansion plans. The Cyert Center is a community committed to the highest quality care and education for children ages infant through kindergarten. The Cyert Center is currently searching for a Dishwasher to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in an interesting and challenging work environment. You will contribute to the department by maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards for dishes, glassware, tableware, cooking utensils, etc., using machine and manual cleaning methods, and other such tasks as assigned.
Your core responsibilities will include:

Sort and rinse dirty dishes, glass, tableware and other cooking utensils and place them in racks to send through dish machine.

Sort and stack clean dishes. Carry clean dishes to cook’s line and other proper storage areas. Rewash soiled dishes before delivering.

Wash pots, pans and trays by hand. Remove trash and garbage to dumpster

Other duties as assigned.
