JOB SUMMARY: Under the direction of the Kitchen Manager and/or the Food and Beverage
Manager, the Dishwasher ensures smooth and efficient operation of the dish area. Responsible
for maintaining clean dishes, cleanliness of dish area, trash removal, floor maintenance and
distribution of clean dishware. Friendly, professional attitude always required. Must be willing
to work nights, weekends, and holidays. Neat clean appearance is a must.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma/GED desired.
• Prior Restaurant and/or dishwashing experience preferred.
• Ability to always demonstrate outstanding customer service.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to multi-task efficiently.
• Communicate effectively with other staff.
• Maintain a positive attitude towards each guest and fellow employee and make work

pleasant and enjoyable.

• Promote and participate in a strong team effort.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Must adhere to Legendary Waters Resort & Casino’s policies and procedures.
• Must adhere to all appearance and uniform standards.
• Must adhere to all safety and sanitation procedures.

• Sort all properly washed items.
• Prepare and load racks properly into the dishwasher machine.
• Operate dishwasher machine and maintain for proper operation, including cleaning and

draining of machine.

• Inspect all items washed to ensure cleanliness and rewashing if needed.
• Maintain cleanliness of all work areas, including but not limited to walls and floors.
• Maintain trash removal.
• Follow all safety/sanitation guidelines.
• Keep floors clean and mopped.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to lift 40 lbs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
