About the job:
The Kitchen Attendant will be the front line of customer interactions, ensuring safe and clean food service and conducting business in a friendly manner. Kitchen Attendant will also assist with duties in commercial kitchen environment.
Here's what you'll be doing:
- Assist in basic kitchen prep work
- Will need to learn and manage a “Point of Sale” (POS) system
- Maintain proper food handling procedures and monitor proper hygiene
- Help to maintain and rotate food items pertaining to inventory
- May need to work with little or no supervision at times
- Maintain and enforce knowledge of all general and department safety rules
- Assist in daily cleaning of the kitchen and concession areas
- Availability to work afternoons, early evenings, and occasional weekends
Here's what you'll need to be successful:
- Must be at least 16 years old
- Knowledge of basic kitchen practices
- Demonstrate an attitude of courtesy, cheerfulness, and friendliness
- Experience handling money and balancing a till is preferred
- Must have Wisconsin food handlers’ course and “Serve Safe” certification within 120 days of hire
- Demonstrate ability to work independently and anticipate needs in all applicable areas
- Ability to take directions and follow procedures
- Must successfully pass all applicable background checks and drug screens
