Job Summary:

BB&N is seeking a full-time Kitchen Utility Person. The Kitchen Utility Person ensures that the main cafeteria is clean and ready for lunch service. This position is responsible for the set-up and cleaning of the dish machine. This position is managing dishes, recycling materials, and trash removal. The Utility Person's job will follow a specific task list provided by the Director of Dining Services. A year-round position Monday through Friday each week, with paid vacation and benefits. The position is a full-time 5:30 AM - 2:00 PM work schedule.

Skills and Competencies:

The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience working in a professional food service operation and demonstrate the ability to:

• Excellent communication skills;
• Ability to follow instructions to complete specific tasks and work neatly and independently without direct supervision;
• Ability to climb stairs and lift 50 lbs.
