Assembler III

Reports To: Supervisor, Line Leader, or Production Manager

Job Overview:

Performs the tasks necessary to assemble the coach, with specialized skills in multiple job functions working primarily on the assembly line in a timely manner. They must also maintain tidy work areas and follow detailed instructions to meet safety and quality requirements.

Primary Responsibilities (Must meet all the requirements of an Assembler 2 plus the items listed below)

  • Capable of performing or learning to perform all tasks in one line
  • Good attitude and works well with others. (No discipline for attitude related issues over the past 6 months)
  • Willingness to work where needed
  • Computer knowledge: able to search, pull, print, and apply blueprint readings.
  • Basic Knowledge of RVIA Standards
  • Promote and maintain a safe work environment
  • Keeping a clean work environment (5S)
  • Ability to problem solve.
  • Good attendance, demonstrated by maintaining less than 5 points.
  • And other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • A high school diploma or GED.
  • 3+ years of experience with Rev Group.
  • Attendance points less than 5.
  • No disciplinary issues within the past 6 months
  • Read, write, comprehend, and verbally communicate in English
  • Capable of reading a tape measure and other measuring devices
  • Attention to detail
  • Willing to perform repetitive tasks while sitting or standing
  • Must be able to lift 40 pounds
  • Good hand eye coordination
